We are looking for a talented Senior Product Manager with significant experience working with data and data teams. In this role you will work hand in hand with our data engineering and data science teams to evolve our data strategy, optimize our data pipelines, integrate with existing systems, and evaluate new tools. All of this enable us to generate more and deeper insights for our product teams so that we can make a better product for our users.
You will... • Report to the Group Product Manager and work with data engineering, data science, and cross-functional product teams to ensure we understand the exact impacts of our efforts• Ensure we’re properly instrumented to guide our approaches to achieving business goals• Drive the creation and prioritization of the data engineering team quarterly roadmap• Be an expert on our data, deeply understanding how, where, and why it’s generated and processed and what insights it can and cannot provide• Drive decisions around everything data, including where and when to integrate Trello and broader Atlassian data systems
You already have.. • Extensive product management experience, especially in a technical role on a large-scale, user-facing product• Experience with data platforms, including ETLs, warehousing, and analytics• A deep understanding of data modeling and analysis, and the ability to write SQL• A solid understanding of Trello, and what differentiates it from other products.• The drive and follow-through required to accomplish complex goals. You love nothing more than taking an idea, making a plan, and executing.• The ability to prioritize. Presented with meaningful imperatives and a mountain of data, you can identify and organize clear, concise actions.• Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to bridge gaps and collaborate across design, engineering, marketing, sales, customer support, and users.• A proven ability to run complex technical projects in a dynamic environment.
It's great, but not required, if you have: • A data science or engineering background• Experience using data visualization tools to present data• Experience building customer-facing products using real-time data
